BINGO!
On Saturday, March 19, 2011, Camelot Meadows residents
gathered for "Pot of Gold" BINGO. The green tables were
decorated with Pots of Gold overflowing with Gold
butterscotch candies and Gold Primrose flowers which were
door prizes.  The first game was straight BINGO and the final
game was a coverall. Board Member John Morris called all
the games.  Brian Barnes was the doorman, selling BINGO
sheets, renting daubers, passing out tickets for the door
prize drawing and selling 50/50s.  Brian also was the official
BINGO verifier.

During the break, guests feasted on Oscar Meyer All Beef Hot
Dogs, Philly Pretzels, cupcakes, brownies, pineapple upside
down cake, candy bar cake, and donuts. Many thanks go out
to Carol Morris and Carol Macfarland who donated the Hot
Dogs, Pretzels and Candy Bar Cake; to Mary Leppo who
donated Pineapple upside down cake and Brownies; to Ellen
Orrell who donated cupcakes.

The event was a big success and some guest won more than
one time.  Sponsors of the BINGO event donated prizes won
by participants.  Special Thanks go out to Wizard of Paws $50,
Confuscious $50, ELS $50 Pool pass certificate, $25 - Outback
Gift Card from Mark Smith, $20 Hickman Meats, $10 from
Dollar Tree; Grand Rental Station who provided a hotdog
machine for the event, and TGIFriday's for donating 8 - free
app or dessert cards.

Please be sure to patronize the sponsors of our fundraising
event.  All sponsors have ads on our website as a special
thank you for supporting our HOA.
Saturday, June 11, 2011, the HOA Annual Picnic took place at
the club house from 2-5.  Special thanks go out to Steve
Golder and George Baringer were the chefs who did all the
cooking. A good time was had by all.  The dessert contest
winner was
Lorraine Kent. Check out the picnic photos.
On Saturday May 21, ELS hosted a Flower the Park Event.
ELS donated $500 in plants and repaired the watering and
electrical on the center island at the entrance.  Special Thanks
to Dee Atwell, BJ Buckno and Ted Mason for all hard work they
put into planting with ELS and making the park more beautiful.
Look for more park beautification projects in the fall.

The Saturday, May 21st Yard Sale had larger participation due
to the nice weather.  However, that weather may also have
been the cause lighter traffic for the sale.

The Saturday, May 14th Yard Sale was greatly hampered by
the weather, although participation in the Dumpster Usage was
overwhelming.

FYI
  • Our Yard Sales are advertised in the Cape Gazette.
  • ELS pays for one dumpster per year and the HOA pays
    for the other dumpster.
  • We will also have another yard sale in late September or
early October with a dumpster available.
      On Saturday, October 22, 2011,
the Hoa, hosted a Saturday board
meeting. It was a brisk and beautiful
morning in the Rose Garden.
Corporal Camacho from Troop 4 visited the park on
Saturday to get information from residents about the
man soliciting money door to door (he has been
arrested).  He spoke to the resident about tips to
protect themselves and their homes from burglars.
Special thanks go out to Dickey Lamb who had the
Rehoboth Fire Department on hand.  There was a
smoke detector raffle and fire prevention bags for each
household.
The day wrapped up with the Halloween Monster Ball
with Boo Bingo.  All prizes were donated by board
members or from soliticitation from businesses in our
community.  All the Children played Bingo for free with
special children's prizes too.  All of the children won
prizes for best costume or honorable mention.
Congratulations to Allen Herron who guess 505
candy corns...actual number 584.

On December 10th, CMHOA hosted its annual
Holiday Party.  The food and company were
excellent.  Special thanks to all who made covered
dishes.  The white elephant gift exchange was a
great deal of fun. Gifts were wrapped so beautifully
and in such disguise that one guest thought he won a
new Kuerig coffee maker only to get home and
discover he actually won towels, soap, lotion and a
host of other goodies.  A great time was had by all.
Edna Weisel turned 101 on December 29th.  She
was to be the guest of honor, however was so excited
she slept poorly and did not make it. We took Edna a
plate of goodies from the party and went back on her
birthday to celebrate too.
